This Privacy Policy describes how KarmanLogs LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Karman E6B mobile application ("the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

2. Information We Do Not Collect
Karman E6B is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not:
- Create user accounts or require registration
- Collect, store, or transmit your name, email address, or other personal identifiers

- Serve advertisements of any kind
- Use cookies, pixels, or similar tracking technologies

3. Location Data
The App requests access to your device's location services for the following purposes:
- Nearest Airport Lookup: Your location is processed on your device to determine the nearest airport or navigational aid. Only the resulting airport identifier (e.g., ICAO or FAA code) is used for subsequent operations — your raw geographic coordinates are not transmitted to any server.
- Aviation Weather: The App retrieves current weather data (METAR, TAF) using the airport identifier determined from your on-device location lookup. Your actual latitude and longitude coordinates are not sent to any external service.
Location data is processed in real time and is not stored, logged, cached, or transmitted beyond your device. You may deny location access at any time through your device's Settings; the App will continue to function but features relying on your current position will require manual airport selection.
4. Internet Usage
The App requires an internet connection to retrieve current aviation weather information. These network requests contain only the airport identifier (e.g., "KJFK") and standard HTTP headers automatically provided by the operating system. No personal information, device identifiers, or location coordinates are included in these requests.
5. Data Storage
All data within the App — including any user preferences or calculation inputs — is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store user data. We have no ability to access, retrieve, or view any information from your device.
6. Third-Party Services
Karman E6B does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or social media SDKs. The only external communication the App makes is to retrieve publicly available aviation weather data using airport identifiers.
7. Children's Privacy
Karman E6B is suitable for users of all ages. Because we do not collect any personal information from any user, the App complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provisions regarding minors, and other applicable children's privacy laws. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 or any other age threshold defined by applicable law.
8. International Users
The App is available worldwide. Because we do not collect or process personal data, no cross-border data transfers occur. Users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, Brazil, and other jurisdictions with data protection laws can use the App with the assurance that no personal data is collected, processed, or transferred to any jurisdiction.
For users subject to the GDPR, LGPD (Brazil), or similar regulations: because no personal data is collected, the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection do not apply in practice. Although we do not collect or transmit personal data, the App is built using industry-standard development practices. All network requests to retrieve aviation weather data are made over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.

Because Karman E6B does not collect, sell, or share personal information as defined under these laws, these provisions do not apply in practice. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes beyond what is necessary to provide the App.
